I had the unique opportunity to try the Acusurgical robot for vitreoretinal surgery – an absolutely fascinating experience!

In this dry lab setting, I first performed an epimacular membrane peeling, followed by a subretinal injection. After a short phase of training and adaptation, I was truly impressed by the remarkable precision of the robot.

The potential for vitreoretinal and subretinal surgery is immense, opening the door to new horizons in ophthalmic surgery. 🚀👁️
